This forum is intended for members of the 2008/09 UWO Public History class. Any visitors are welcome to look around, but are kindly asked not to post. Thank you.

Any messages posted that are not responded to within 90 days will be automatically deleted. At present, I am unable to extend that time period. To prevent unncessary deletion, let's try to keep like topics together so that they can be responded to and saved.

I will do my best to monitor this forum, but if anyone is interested in assisting by becoming a moderator, please let me know. This position does carry a little more responsibility, but I assure you it's difficult to mess up the forum too much! For instance, you can't delete things without a "are you sure" message first!

If new forum headings are needed and you are unable to create one, please contact me and I will make sure one is created.

I've also tried to ensure that only members of this particular forum are able to view the majority of our messages. I've done this to maintain our privacy and to ensure that people outside of our class aren't going to be posting on our message board. If you find a questionable user in your travels, please let me know, as users can be blocked if necessary.

Also, as you're posting, you'll notice that you have several formatting options at the top of your screen. In some cases (like in creating a table) you'll notice that the necessary code is automatically inputted for you. If you are unsure as to how some of the formatting works, you can always test it out - and press the preview option rather than the send option. It's the same as on our Wiki - let's you view your changes before publishing them to the group. I highly recommend this!

Lastly - If there are any questions, please contact me and I will do my best to resolve them! (Have patience though, I'm learning too! Smile)
